Facebook’s Graphic (Overlay).
Facebook provides a live graphic overlay feature during live streaming to enhance your broadcast visuals.
Overlay allows you to display custom images or graphics on top of your live video, such as:
- Brand logo
- Live title
- Product details
- Call-to-action prompts
- Order instructions
- Countdown timers
This helps your live selling content look more professional and engaging.
How Overlay Works
Section titled “How Overlay Works”You can add graphic overlays using:
- Facebook Live Producer / Meta Live Studio
- Third-party live streaming tools (e.g., OBS, Streamyard, Restream)
Both methods support adding image overlays during live broadcast.
Step-by-Step Guide
Section titled “Step-by-Step Guide”1. Start a Facebook Live
Section titled “1. Start a Facebook Live”Go to your Facebook Page → Live → Choose Live Producer or Meta Live Studio.
2. Add Graphics / Overlay
Section titled “2. Add Graphics / Overlay”Within the live setup interface, find:

The exact label may vary depending on Facebook’s UI version.
3. Upload Your Image
Section titled “3. Upload Your Image”Upload a transparent PNG or designed graphic you want to show on screen.
Good choices include:
- Your Logo
- “Comment keyword + quantity to order” prompt
- Welcome title
- Product highlight banners
4. Position Your Overlay
Section titled “4. Position Your Overlay”Adjust the overlay position on the video:

5. Save & Go Live

Your overlays will display on the live video.

Overlay affects visual presentation, not Boxify’s order processing or messaging features.
If customers still fail to comment or order, check keywords, setup permissions, or platform issues.
Using Overlay on Different Devices
Section titled “Using Overlay on Different Devices”If you are streaming:
From mobile phone (Facebook App): The native Facebook mobile app does not support advanced graphic overlays. You may use third-party live streaming apps if overlay is required.
From desktop (OBS / streaming software): You can add graphic overlays using streaming tools such as OBS or Streamyard for more advanced customization.
If you’re using a smartphone to do the live stream, still you can display the overlay through OBS.
